DeepSea Master

An indigenous, integrated vessel-monitoring, fisher-safety and communication system, aligned to India's national fisheries & coastal-security priorities.

A NATIONAL PRIORITY

Safer seas, secure borders, sustainable fisheries.

Fisher deaths in cyclones, boats straying across the IMBL, and the push for export traceability all demand one thing: every vessel, always locatable and reachable.
POLICY ALIGNMENT

Built to deliver on existing mandates & schemes.

PMMSY

₹20,050 Cr umbrella scheme covering fisher safety, communication and vessel modernisation, DSM maps directly to its safety & comms components.

NavIC transponder program

₹364 Cr, 1 lakh vessels. DSM complements two-way satellite messaging with a full onboard safety & monitoring stack.

DGS AIS Order 15/2022

Vessels must keep AIS operational. DSM integrates AIS boat-location and position reporting by design.

Group Accident Insurance

Safety infrastructure that reduces incidents supports the fisher-welfare objectives behind GAIS and allied schemes.

WHAT IS DEEPSEA MASTER

One integrated system for the entire vessel.

DeepSea Master (DSM) unifies navigation, safety, surveillance, communications and onboard monitoring into a single rugged bridge, purpose-built for fishing boats and trawlers.
It turns a fishing vessel into a connected, monitored, and safer asset, on the water and from shore.
Navigate
Offline charts, route planning & live vessel tracking.
Protect
Crew safety e-tags, SOS, smoke & environment sensing.
Stay connected
Cellular-primary with satellite SOS beyond coverage.
Monitor the fleet
Owners & authorities track every boat in real time.
CAPABILITY → NATIONAL OBJECTIVE

Every function serves a public-interest goal.

PEOPLE SAFETY · SURVEILLANCE

Safety is the system's
first priority.

Crossing an international maritime boundary, a fire below deck, a crew member overboard, at sea, seconds decide outcomes.
Hooter + voice alert IP surveillance Smoke & env sensing
Bluetooth crew e-tags
Up to 20 tags, live battery, connection & panic status on the HMI.
SOS, panic & help switches
One press fires an instant alert, sounds the hooter & announces the zone.
IP camera surveillance
Live feeds from critical zones straight to the bridge HMI.
DUAL COMMUNICATIONS · THE DIFFERENCE

Connected everywhere. Even where cellular ends.

Cellular, primary link

Real-time telemetry, video and fleet data flow over cellular whenever the vessel is within coverage.

Satellite, safety backbone

When the signal drops, DSM automatically falls back to satellite for SOS alerts, critical messages and periodic position reporting.

~3 km
is roughly where mobile coverage ends offshore, beyond it, satellite is the only lifeline. DSM keeps a vessel reachable across the whole voyage.

STANDARDS · INTEROPERABILITY · DATA

Designed for compliant, secure deployment.

NavIC / satellite interoperable, complements the national two-way messaging rollout.
AIS position reporting aligned with DG Shipping requirements.
Centralised MCS dashboards for fisheries departments & the Coast Guard.
Secure data handling with server-side control and audit trails.
Rugged, marine-grade hardware for extreme sea conditions.
Phased, scalable rollout from pilot districts to state-wide fleets.
DEPLOYMENT & SUPPORT MODEL

From pilot to state-wide, with service behind it.

1
Survey & pilot
Assess landing centres, run a monitored pilot in target districts.
2
Install & train
Fit vessels, train crews & officials, integrate the shore dashboard.
3
Operate
Live fleet monitoring, SOS handling & alerts for authorities.
4
Support & scale
Coastal service network, SLAs, AMC & phased state rollout.
Backed by a Chennai-based manufacturer with 25 years in hardware, with the service footprint to support coastal deployments.
MAKE IN INDIA

Indigenous by design, and by procurement.

DeepSea Master is designed, developed and manufactured in India by Rax-Tech International. It is positioned to qualify as a Class-I local supplier under the Public Procurement (Preference to Make in India) Order.
≥50% local content target Design · Development · Manufacturing
Strategic autonomy
No dependence on imported black-box marine electronics.
Better value
Indian engineering & support at a fraction of imported cost.
Procurement preference
Eligible for GeM & Make-in-India purchase preference.
COMMERCIALS & TENDER READINESS

Two clear entry points for public rollout.

From ₹50,000
Fishing boats
Core navigation, vessel location and fisher-safety configuration for smaller craft.
From ₹2.5 lakh
Fishing vessels
Expanded bridge, sensors, dual communications and fleet-monitoring configuration for mechanised vessels.
Tender structure: final pricing is costed by vessel class, module scope, installation volume and service period. District pilot → state fleet → national scale, with milestone-based acceptance.
